Le gouvernement mauritanien a décidé sur instruction du président Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, de dédommager les agriculteurs dont les récoltes ont été détruites par les inondations.
Ainsi chaque agriculteur se verra accorder une compensation estimée à 163 mille par hectare.
Le montant alloué pour l’indemnisation des pertes subies par les riziculteurs s’élèverait à 2,5 milliards ouguiyas anciennes, apprend-on.
Le ministre du Développement Rural Deye Ould Zeine s’était rendu récemment dans les zones agricoles touchées par les fortes pluies.
Une visite au cours de laquelle, il a obtenu des riziculteurs les informations détaillées relatives aux dégâts causés par les pluies au cours de ces derniers jours.
