Le Conseil des ministres s’est réuni hier mercredi 27 décembre 2023.Un conclave gouvernemental marqué par la nomination du Général de Brigade Saidou Samba Dia, au poste de Secrétaire Général du Ministère de la Défense nationale.
Le Général de Brigade Seydou Samba Dia occupait à sa nomination, le poste de chef du 4eme Bureau de l'Etat-major général des armées.
Répondant en mai dernier au micro de "VOAfrique", sur l’insécurité au Sahel, le général Saidou Samba Dia, également chef de la division soutien à l’État-major des armées mauritaniennes et point focal du G5 Sahel, avait salué toutefois des initiatives collectives qui voient le jour afin de développer la souplesse nécessaire pour s’adapter au nouveau phénomène du terrorisme dans le Sahel.
